What should I bring to my personal tax appointment?

Great question! Things you want to bring to your personal tax appointment are:

  • Personal Identification (Drivers License or Passport)

  • Social Security Numbers for all Dependents.

  • Banking information (routing & account number) for direct deposits.

  • W-2’s or 1099’s for all jobs worked during the year.

  • Amount received from 2021 Stimulus.

  • Letter 6419 - Coming from IRS in regards to Child Tax Credit.

  • Mortgage Interest

  • Mortgage Documents if new mortgage or refinance.

  • Charitable Contributions

  • Form 1095A - Health Insurance Marketplace

  • Medical Expenses not covered by insurance or HSA.

  • HSA Contributions and withdrawals.

  • Tuition statement and expenses for school.

  • Work related expenses if you have a 1099 or are a statutory employee.

What should I bring to my business tax appointment?

In order to make the best use of your time, please make sure you have the following information with you for your business, rental property or farm:

  • Federal EIN Number

  • Income Received throughout year (Gross Income, prior to expenses being taken out.

  • Expenses - this can be anything necessary for running the business:

    • Advertising / Marketing

    • Commissions

    • Vehicle Expenses / Mileage

    • Inventory

    • Rent

    • Phone Bills

    • Travel

    • Meals & Entertainment

    • Equipment
